My experience as a new member is I have been made very welcome by all and very quickly felt part of the Wyvern family atmosphere .

What a lovely club. So welcoming and caring. Well worth a visit and, if you decide to join, the feee are so reasonable because you become part of a community which maintain the beautiful environment.

Wyvern

Easily the best naturist group I have been a member of,the people are friendly and welcoming . There is a car park ,Boules court, flushing toilets and shower( there is no water supply to site so members take water to top up the tanks). The site has a nice large clubhouse with heating for the cooler times and tea and coffee making facilities and a cooker too.The sun terrace has lovely views of the surrounding countryside and choice of full sun or shade under the trees. The committee and members are really welcoming and friendly.

I enjoyed my visit to Wyvern Swim and Sun Club. I found the members to be very welcoming and friendly. The Club is in a lovely, quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Great facilities and the kettle is always on.

My husband and I have been members since the early 1980s. We have seen many changes all for the better. Always made to feel welcome and not pressurised into working. Earlier this year there were problems with one of the fences which had blown down. A call was put out and many members turned up to put the fence back. This is the type of membership we have. Someone is always willing. Very pleasant surroundings and outlook. Lovely club house and new modern toilet and shower facilities. Would strongly recommend Wyvern. A warm welcome is guaranteed.

We are a naturist couple and have been members since before 2009 and have always found the club to be very welcoming, with a balanced, relaxed and friendly membership. The club is located near Ledbury with a spacious sun-lawn surrounded by idyllic fields and hills.

The club itself is off-grid but this does not detract from the enjoyment of our visits. The club house has cooking facilities and there is a new shower/toilet block. For overnight stays, space is available for camping and there is also now available a “dandy” trailer tent which can be hired.

The committee, which has recently changed, continues to develop the club, promotes social events and organises work weekends, where members can help with site maintenance. There is no expectation or compulsion to do this, but we do like the work weekends as it’s useful exercise for us and gives a real sense of camaraderie.

So if you are a genuine naturist or naturist couple and this sounds appealing, consider arranging a visit. You may find that you really like it. We did, and has it happens, as the weather forecast is nice, we’re aiming to go this weekend.

we had been members of Wyvern swim and sun club for many years , until we retired,
and came to live here in France. ( now lived here 16 years )
we brought this old farmhouse a few years ago.

We miss wyvern very much, as we had so much fun, and made many friends, some we still keep in touch with, having visited naturist clubs all over Europe, you would not go wrong in paying Wyvern a visit, and I know you would be made very welcome.

It is a club that does not pressure you in to doing jobs, I E, gardening / hedge cutting/
maintaining the grounds etc.

Just lie in the sun, or play boules / tennis etc......
We do miss the club very much. but my wife is in her 80s and Now has dementia.

This is the place to go if you want to get away from the rat race ,no water or electricity on site, but it does have a great clubhouse and new toilet block with a shower, if you want that chill factor then this is the place to go,the kettle is always on and you will be made very welcome, suitable for Moterhome s and tents

Have been a member of this happy club for many years. Now lapsed but only because of our travels round EU. We would fully recommend a visit or membership. We rarely helped with jobs but there was no pressure from anyone . Such Lovely caring members , ideal location and so peaceful . Communal area, kitchen , lounge etc . Everyone gives you a warm welcome and makes you feel at home . You can either join in or find a quiet spot and just be yourself . Nobody minds and understands.
Swim nights good too if you like swimming.

I was a little nervous when first attending as I knew nobody here but felt at home as soon as I was through the gate as everybody seemed so friendly and welcoming. The site is lovely and the sun ALWAYS shines there :-)

I have now become a member and look forward to camping there and making occasional visits - and more visits when I reach retirement age next year.

Not been for a while but still have good memories of the few times we have been to this club, clean, friendly and very relaxing.

A lovely club in a picturesque setting where we found everyone to be very friendly and welcoming each time we visited.
In fact, we liked the place so much, we've bought a second handy Dandy and reserved a pitch, and joined as members!

I have been a member for 8 years and never have I known anyone to be made to work,we have a new committee which is doing everything they can to progress the club, I am very happy to be not only a member but the club secretary.

My wife and I made visits to this wonderful club on both sat and sun (13-14 Aug 2022). The visits were arranged via email to the club secretary Helen, who always responded quickly to any of our queries.
We arrived on sat morning and met Heather and Linda, then shown round the club facilities by Tony.
We were made welcome from the moment we arrived until our final departure on Sunday afternoon.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet so many enthusiastic members and committee.
The club has available a Dandy van available for hire by both members and visitors at very reasonable rates. The club does not have mains electricity or water but does not suffer as a result.
We would both highly recommend this club and its the people that make it special.
We are looking to become members early in the new year and look forward to visiting again in the near future.
Many thanks to all those we met and made us feel so welcome.

Great place to sit and listen to the birds. So peaceful and restful but sadly due to COVID was closed to visitors and members alike but now up and running with kettle on all the time

Being a member for 4 years and now a member of the current committee I feel obliged to reply to Richard and Carole comments.
Firstly many of our members volunteer for work weekends
Where they can get involved for as long or as little as they prefer.
We are a new committee that endeavours to provide a clean and safe environment for our members. We certainly do not run on gossip or ban people for face not fitting or not partaking in work weekends and feel those comments are completely unjustified, on investigation it would appear that the opinions expressed are based on 1 site visit over a 3 year period and the membership lapsed and wasn't able to renew during COVID restrictions.
New visitors are always welcome

Lovely little site with no water or electricity, and fantastic views . Limited to tents and campers only ,very limited parking on site .
Run by same old ,and out of touch committee that throw out members they don’t like .
It’s great for sunbathing but you will be expected to do gardening /maintaining work . Tends to thrive on gossip, arguing and back stabbing ,probably like a lot of member only clubs .
It’s more exciting and refreshing to go to commercial naturists sites ,where you pay to attend ,and you don’t have to worry about being excluded (unless you act inappropriately of course ,then you deserve to be thrown out !) or your face no longer fitting in . We were members for many years ,but banned due to not doing any garden work . Our advice is never actually join anywhere ,just go to lots of clubs as visitors, and enjoy the scenery. Unless you are an old person wanting company ,if so ,then this could work out well for you .
