Loved this place. Very friendly, food excellent, reasonably priced. Lovely river winds through the site which our labrador loved. lovely clean pool.Lovely walks and good amenities. Clean facilities, though if the showers a fully used the temperature of the water can go from hot to cold suddenly, would definitely stay again.

We love this site and have been several times. It is a family run site and has the level of friendliness that goes with it. Lots of effort is made by the owners to host events from a weekly laid-back meet-and-greet to a spooky walk through their woods which is lots of fun. There is a pleasant pool area where there are regular organised activities for those that feel like it, also organised naked walks starting from the site, through the woodlands and through the neighbouring fields and village - interesting and glacial land and lots of Roman history. The pitches are generous and very green - the proximity to the Pyrennees makes for vairable weather - some days scorching and others overcast. With the amount of stuff to see and do around this suits us perfectly. Marvellous cycling and running terrain. If we had to find a niggle to balance the gushing we'd say that the toilet block although always clean (having spent 10 weeks there so far, we cannot understand the previous comment suggesting otherwise), could do with a bit of money spent to fix the broken showers. There are about 10 which is plenty - even if a couple seem to be long-term bust. The few niggles are trivial given the beatiful setting amongst rural French farmland where sunflowers abound.

For us it is one of those few campsites where we leave feeling that there is always more to do next time.

Just read Terry and Val's review This year at the same time it was excellent. Staff great, good restaurant and very relaxing. Only critism the shop wasn't open. I paid 16 euros a night all in and had a great time.

Arrived early June and this site was not ready for business.
It was expensive (no ACSI discounts).
The site and staff were on their own agenda and not that of the customer.
There was no hardstanding for camping cars and caravans.
Toilet blocks and showers were not clean.
The pool was dirty and in the process of being repaired.
On the plus side bread was delivered to your pitch every morning and the site is in a very picturesque location.
